ΕΤΕPΑΜ, on the 10th anniversary of its foundation and in the frame of its constant scientific activity in the field of the restoration of monuments, organized a Workshop, entitled “Visible & Invisible Monument interventions”. This event, sixth in the decade since the founding of ΕΤΕPΑΜ, attracted the interest of scientists engaged or wishing to deal with monuments’ interventions. Particularly after the recent earthquake activity in Greece, it was necessary to rethink the reflection on the methods to strengthen monuments and to present and discuss experience from the interventions and research made in the field in recent years. The workshop was held in Thessaloniki on Friday 10 October 2014, in the Auditorium of the Department of Topography of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. It was carried out with the support of EPPO (Earthquake Planning and Protection Organization) and the Engineering School of the Aristotle University and was open to the public. Due to the great interest, the workshop was repeated in Athens on March 9, 2015 in the Ceremony Hall of the National Technical University of Athens (Zografou University Campus). The proceedings of the Workshop “Visible & Invisible Monument interventions” organized by ΕΤΕPΑΜ in Thessaloniki on 12/10/2014 and in Athens on 9/3/2015 are available on a digital disc.
