ΕΤΕPΑΜ was founded in July  2004. According to its  statutes, officially  probated  by the  Court of the first Instance  in Thessaloniki ,  it started functioning with 48 founding members from all over Greece. who  elected the first Board. At the 2nd General  Assembly  held in Athens, in  27-5-2005 the acceptance of new members was decided. At the 3rd General  Assembly,  held in Thessaloniki  in 11-11-2006,  the Society expanded with the registration of new members and reached   92 members. In 12-12-2008 at the 4th General Assembly , ΕΤΕΠΑΜ reached  103 members. In 17-12-2010 at the 5th General Assembly, ΕΤΕΠΑΜ reached 124 members. In 21-12-2012 at the 6th General Assembly, ΕΤΕΠΑΜ reached   143 members. In 12-12-2014 at the 7th General Assembly ΕΤΕΠΑΜ reached   148 members In  16-12-2016 at the 8th General Assembly,  the present Board was elected and ΕΤΕΠΑΜ reached 160 members The Boards, following the unanimous decision of the first General Assembly, decided to organize regular National Restoration Conferences, every three years. As a result the 1st (2006) and 4th (2015) National Conference of Restoration took place in Thessaloniki,  and the 2nd (2009), 3rd (2012) and 5th (2019) in Athens .
